Signatures are only valid if they are filled out correctly!
Who can sign? Signatories must be registered to vote in Seattle at their current address. If they are not currently registered at their current address but live in Seattle, give them a registration form and stress that their signature will only count if they turn in their registration. You must be at least 18 years old and a citizen to register to vote.
What to fill out? We need the Signature, Printed Name, Address (where voter registered), and Date. Make sure these are all filled out legibly. We want their email, but this is optional.
Happy Petitioning! Please make sure to return completed petitions to the 15 Now office as soon as possible, and no later than Monday, May 26th. Thank you!
